BAYHYDROL UV 2689/2

BAYHYDROL UV 2689/2 is an anionic, UV-curable polyurethane dispersion used in industrial waterborne UV clear and pigmented coatings. It provides high gloss coatings with chemical and mechanical resistance after UV curing. BAYHYDROL UV 2689/2 formulations dry with a soft, tacky surface and cures to a hard film with the addition of photoinitiators like Irgacure 127. This enables high-speed coating of plastics and wood substrates in applications. BAYHYDROL UV 2689/2 coatings exhibit excellent durability suited for exterior usage and protect substrates from environmental damages with long-lasting gloss and appearance.
