FormulationsHome Care and I&I

Formulation designed to break down proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and plant-based food across manual and automated systems

This formulation is designed for the effective cleaning of medical, dental, and laboratory instruments. This multi-enzymatic detergent integrates a synergistic blend of five enzymes—protease, amylase, cellulase, mannanase, and lipase—each selected for its ability to degrade specific organic residues such as blood, mucus, starches, fats, and plant fibres. The formulation is compatible with manual, ultrasonic, and automated cleaning systems, including thermo-disinfectors. It operates optimally within a pH range of 6.5 to 7.5 and demonstrates enzymatic stability for at least 56 days at 40 °C. Recommended dosage ranges from 1 to 2 mL/L depending on contamination level, with an immersion time of at least 5 minutes.

Benefits

  • Low-foaming surfactants suitable for automated and manual cleaning
  • Not corrosive to surgical-grade instruments
  • Low alcohol content and minimal odour
  • Effective across a wide temperature range
  • Targets proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and mucopolysaccharides through enzymatic activity
  • Stable proteolytic and amylolytic activity under alkaline conditions

Key materials

  • Protease: Degrades protein-based stains such as blood and fibrin; stable in alkaline media
  • Amylase: Targets carbohydrate-rich residues; effective across varying water hardness
  • Cellulase: Removes plant fibres and food bolus; enhances cleanliness
  • Mannanase: Breaks down sticky, gum-like residues from plant sources
  • Lipase: Cleans lipidic stains including skin oils and food grease
  • GLDA (Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate): Chelating agent with high water solubility; effective across a broad pH range
  • Nonionic surfactant: Provides wetting and soil penetration; ideal for high-temperature cleaning
